Will this project affect air quality?

No – Hydrogen itself is an odorless, non-toxic gas. The only byproduct of electrolysis which will be released into the air is oxygen.

Will the project be noisy?

No – The loudest part of the project is during construction. During operations, the facility will produce noise similar to other existing and nearby industrial facilities.

What safety measures are in place for the project?

Safety is our top priority. We strictly adhere to the highest safety standards and regulations, employing rigorous protocols, advanced monitoring, and emergency plans to ensure a secure and compliant operation.

Will you deplete water resources?

No – The project uses about the same amount of water as a large dairy operation. We only use as much water as we need. We dispose our non-nonhazardous wastewater into a deep injection well approved by a rigorous EPA process.

How long will construction take?

Eighteen to twenty-four months.

Is this going to use my tax dollars?

No, Monarch does not anticipate utilizing tax dollars to construct or operate the project.
